| Deployment Timeline | 2025 |
| Field | Smart Factory |
| Key Scope | Industrial PC · network · video security · monitoring |
1. On-site situation
The three factory buildings were built at different times, so the network, CCTV, and equipment monitoring were all operating separately. When a failure occurred, it took half a day just to find which segment was affected.
2. Deployment scope
| Industrial PC | 40 units (per-line MES terminals · panel PCs) |
|---|---|
| Network | 80 Omada WiFi 6 APs · 24 managed switches |
| Video Security | 120 VIGI IP Cameras · 4 NVRs |
| Monitoring | 200 IoT Sensor Points · Integrated Dashboard |
3. How we solved it
- Integrated the three buildings under a single Omada controller — separated production, office, and guest networks via VLAN
- Replaced with industrial panel PCs per line, applied IP65 dust-proof specification
- Converted 120 CCTV cameras to AI detection (people/vehicles), reducing unnecessary recording by 60%
- Integrated equipment temperature, vibration, and utilization on a single screen, with threshold alerts via Telegram
4. Results
| Incident response time | Average 4 hours → 30 minutes |
|---|---|
| Network management points | 3 consoles → 1 |
| Recording storage costs | Approximately 60% reduction |
"Before, when a problem occurred, we didn't know where to start looking, so we called every vendor. Now we just look at a single dashboard."
